We’re so excited to announce that American actor, comedian, and motivational speaker, Kyle Cease will be speaking live at Awesomeness Fest Puerto Vallarta this November 6-9!

Oh yeah!

You might remember him as Bogey Lowenstein in the 1999 movie ‘10 Things I Hate About You’ or from the film ‘Not Another Teen Movie’, but these days Kyle is an inspirational speaker, transforming audiences through his unique blend of comedy and motivation.

Following his successful Comedy Central Hour Special “Weirder, Blacker, Dimpler” and a #1 ranking on the network’s Standup Showdown in 2009, Kyle began speaking at colleges, universities, summits and Fortune 500 conferences about his use of Comedy to overcome life’s obstacles.

Kyle has since become one of the nations most sought after speakers.

His fast-paced, stream-of-consciousness delivery and an emphasis on random jokes and non-sequiters have made him a household name with young comedy fans. He continues to perform over 200 shows a year, and his two stand-up specials remain in constant rotation on Comedy Central. His act is largely observational, applying an absurdist view to pop culture commentary.

We are so excited to have Kyle join us in Puerto Vallarta—it’s no doubt going to be hilarious, but also pretty damn inspirational.

And on that note, I’ll leave you with some thoughts from Kyle:

I believe people are choosing to waste their lives. I believe people get addicted to being positive as a way to not change. I believe that anything is possible. But I am not just reposting Gandhi quotes. I constantly take action, beat out old habits and play with how much I can change. I try to share this with people. But often, they only see truth as inspiration, and inspiration as spam.

So they discard it, and they miss out on something amazing. It is really scary and often short term painful to face your shit. But it is scarier in the long run not to. I have done it a lot. I do it every day. I look inward constantly and make the change that I can see is needed.

I am not here as a guru; I am not here to change people. I am here to throw a wrench in people’s belief systems. The changes I have implemented on myself have been dramatic.”
